Clubhouse Assistant
Overview: The Clubhouse Assistant supports members with brain injuries as they develop and perform skills. The Clubhouse Assistant will assist within the day-to-day operations of the work ordered day, follow goals and plans developed in conjunction with the clubhouse supervisor. The assistant will follow the BIFSTL Team Charter and BIFSTL policies and procedures. The clubhouse assistant will collaborate with clubhouse supervisor, BIFSTL leadership and staff on matters related to client services and participate in initial and quarterly planning meetings for members in the clubhouse.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma plus 1 year experience providing direct services and/or care to individuals who have experienced brain injury.
OR
- Associates Degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, or related field plus 6 months experience providing direct services or care to people with disabilities.
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, Special Education, Speech Therapy, Communication Disorders, or another related field.
